Salmon Burgers
1 egg white
Place egg white in a bowland whisk it. Add all other ingredients. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6portions and shape into patties. Heat a large non-stick pan and lightly coatwith a very small amount of canola oil. Addsalmon patties and cook until lightly brown and done, about 3 minutes on eachside.
Last summer I was shopping at Aldis and they had some salmon burgers in the frozen section. That sounded good, but it had sodium and things I didn't want in it. I bought a package of Alaskan salmon fillets instead and came up with this recipe. They are super easy and yummy. I have also cooked them on the grill in a Pampered Chef basket. I use fresh herbs in the summer in place of the dried and if you don't care for peppers just use more onion. In the burgers pictured I used about 6 mini colored peppers in place of the bell pepper.These could be stretched for a larger family by adding more vegetables. Serve these with a one minute bread/bun for a low carb treat.
